Day 3: There's NO STOPPING ME!




It is a wonderful night for a food blog! I really think I can keep this up!... I am constantly going over the dining hall ingredients and thinking of new ways to combine them! Last night as i laid me down to sleep, my mind was not thinking of that cute boy in J101... NO! Instead my brain was playing hop-scotch with recipe ideas! How wonderful! Even if this blog does not have many followers, I am going to keep em' coming. Why? Because I want to.

TWO NEW Recipes for today!

1. Autumn Apple Salad with Honey Mustard Balsamic Vinaigrette


What you need:

1 Apple

(from the salad bar)
Spinach
Red Onions
Beets
Sunflower Seeds
Bleu Cheese Crumbles

(for the dressing)
1 tsp. Mustard
1/2 tsp Honey
2 tsp of Balsamic Vinegar
2 T of Olive Oil

1. Chop up your apple into bite-size pieces

2. Get a smaller dish to mix up the ingredients for your dressing. Mixy, Mixy, untill the oil, honey, mustard, and vinegar are all friendly with each other.

3. Assemble all your salad ingredients and sprinkle on those sunflower seeds and bleu cheese crumbles!

4. Pour on your delectable dressing and savor the flavor of a crisp, autumn apple favorite!

2. Banana-Rama Sandwhich


2 Pieces of whole grain bread
1 banana
2 T Peanut Butter
2 T Maple Syrup or Honey
Cinnamon to your liking!

1. Toast your bread

2. Spread that toast with your peanut butter

3. Slice banana down the middle and place on bread

4. Mix your maple syrup or honey with the cinnamon and pour onto the inside of your sammy

5. Stack up your sandwich masterpiece and enjoy this gooey, creamy, banana-rama sandwhich!

***Great for breakfast***
