Day 2.... Recipe 2!!

Although I had my heart set on trying to make dining hall Artichoke Spinach Dip, I had to try something else seeing that there were no artichokes today... Thus the complex nature of being a self proclaimed- dining hall chef. I have to deal with whatever the heck they have that day. Instead I decided to pay homage to the Greek life here on campus with my sorority and frat friendly......

GO GREEK Pita Supreme!

What you need:
(From the sandwich bar)

1 Pita
1 scoop of hummus
roast beef
tomato
spinich
red onions
black olives
mushrooms

(From the salad bar)

Olive Oil (to coat your pita)
Feta Cheese
Veggie Dip

1. Drizzle your pita with some olive oil and put that baby through the toaster. The oil will make your pita brown, toasty and a delicious canvas for your fillings.

2. Spread the hummus and veggie dip on the inside of your pita

3. Stuff your pita-buddy full with your roast beef, tomatoes, olives, onions, and feta

4. Don't be shy... Keep stuffin'

5. Wrap your mouth around your Zeus-sized Greek masterpiece and enjoy the flavors of the mediterranean!

****BREAKING NEWS!****** This versatile recipe can be tweaked to fit your favorite flavors. Feel free to change out the meat to turkey, chicken, fish etc... Or, make your pita vegetarian by nixing the meat altogether! The hummus and vegetables are delicious even when flying solo!
